Opole University of Technology Pays a Visit

In the golden autumn, the bright sunshine is full of odor of celebration, and the lively campus is echoed with warm congrats. On the 65th anniversary of founding of Chongqing Jiaotong University, International College ushers in the distinguished guests thousands of miles away. They are Marek Tukiendorf, president of International Committee of Conference of Rectors of Academic Universities in Poland, vice president of Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities of Poland, and president of Opole University of Technology of Poland, Katarzyna Szwedziak, Dean of Kedzierzyn-Kozle School of Opole University of Technology, Wojciech Najda , Chief of President’s Office of Opole University of Technology and Jiang Huijuan, Chinese Dean of Confucius Institute of Opole University of Technology. They paid a visit to us on Nov. 5th.

The visitors got enthusiastic welcome at Laoma Café. Huang Chengfeng, Vice President of CQJTU, Yu Yuanling, Chief of International Office, Zhang Bo, Party Secretary of ICCJU, Liu Yuanfeng, Deputy Dean of ICCJU, Huang Tingqiang Vice Party Secretary of ICCJU, and representatives from the New Silk Road International Joint Research Center (NSRC) were present. Vice President Huang expressed greeting to the guests and show them around the studio of NSRC.

To respond to the national call of the vision of the Belt and Road Initiative, NSRC was co-founded with Opole University of Technology of Poland. The studio of the Center locates in ICCJU. This is the first time Polish side come to visit the Center. They are very satisfied with the research conditions.

The guests visited Fashion Creation Space. They liked the leather suitcases created by students and gave their thumbs up. They offered to bring the suitcases to Poland to help these students’ products enter the international market.

This visit makes the both parties bear the most beautiful wish for future cooperation. It is believed that the visit will push forward further construction of the Center, and therefore promote sino-polish cooperation reach a new stage.
